Developed to enable fast car search around wheel arches and underneath floor pans, the Portable Search Probe is also suitable for small loft space viewing and other areas of building and vehicle search. Using high power 940 near IR LED’s and a very sensitive high resolution monochrome camera, the Portable Search Probe offers covert illumination with good viewing distance. Having a bullet shaped camera head, formed in nylon with a long flex and stay section and handle grip, the Portable Search Probe is simple and easy to use.

For overhead applications, the handle grip quickly attaches to a telescopic pole extension, by means of a double start thread. The operators remote view of the camera picture, is via a neck strapped control unit, incorporating a 5.6 inch colour TFT monitor and light weight lithium ion re-chargeable battery pack. The control unit also incorporates a storage facility for a separate camera and cable, to enable 12 volt DC colour or monochrome cameras to directly interface, for different types of covert surveillance usage.

For non covert search work, a colour version of the Portable Search Probe is also available and in addition can be supplied with audio endoscope, camera adapters for covert applications.
